About Us
Techquity was created to facilitate collaboration among member companies with the intent to remove barriers between all members of our community. To accomplish this, we will tirelessly advocate for policies and standards that benefit disabled individuals while providing resources and information to support innovation in assistive technology.

Mission
Mission
Techquity is a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring that all people benefit from emerging technologies.

Vision
Vision
Techquity imagines a world where people with disabilities can quickly find the technologies they need and buy them with the confidence that they have been certified by an independent third party.

Values
Values
Techquity values the ability to understand and meet people’s needs at a very deep, very practical level. We believe that this can only happen when people with broad life and professional experiences are brought together in a collaborative, trusting environment with a shared responsibility: to create a world where technology serves everyone’s needs.
Our Story
Techquity is the product of decades of experience from people deeply invested in meeting the needs of disabled individuals. In her years leading the KenCrest organization, Marian Baldini recognized the transformative power of technology to change the lives of disabled people — but also witnessed countless examples where “close” simply wasn’t good enough. The need for a scalable, repeatable, person-centered approach to ensuring technology meets the unique needs of disabled people was evident. Techquity was created to help everyone — product developers, care givers, charities, government and end users — transform the application of technology in the daily lives of disabled people.
